Hello my fellow Proverbs 31 women in progress,
I hope you are well and that you are striving to follow our Lord Jesus. As for me, I’m happy to tell you I’m back!
If you remember, I announced you that I was leaving in October because my daytime job was time consuming and that I couldn’t handle it and the blog at the same time.
Well, let me tell you that my daytime job made me very uncomfortable and unhappy at the same time. I hated it because I felt that I was in prison. I also didn’t like the job itself – I found it dumb and I didn’t have to apply my knowledge in it.
So I prayed the Lord to tell me what He wanted for me. Because I felt that it wasn’t my place. And I also had a colleague who seemed to resent me because he felt that my salary was too high. And he flaunted it to my face every single day.
The Lord finally answered me when I got fired from my job. I wasn’t shocked at all because I have many projects in mind. But I was wondering what was God’s plan when He allowed me to go to that position.
I’ll find out later, as usual, when you look at your past actions with a larger perspective and that you better understand God’s will. But for now, I recognize that God answered my prayers and that He allowed me to pursue other interests.
Also, if you recall, I didn’t want to work for someone else anymore and I wanted to pursue my own endeavors and also find the time to get a family, to know myself better. So for me, this redundancy is a blessing in disguise.
So, what’s next?
Well, I will use the next month to think about what I want to do with my life and build a strategy
