Envision The Woman You Want To Be in 2019

My dear fellow Proverbs 31 women in progress,

First of all, let me wish you all the best in your lives for this new year! May our Lord Jesus Christ cover you with His Grace in all your endeavours and all your projects for this year!

Today, we’ll talk about the vision that we must have of our lives and how to activate it. Don’t worry, no New Age technique will be taught here! That’s not my type.

Write down your vision

Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:2-3

Do you want to change your life this year? Did you have some difficulties in 2018? Did you encounter some failures?

In that case, forget everything and look forward. Write your goals down and think about what you want to accomplish in your life in 2019. Grab a pen and a paper/notepad and note what you want in the following areas:

  • your spiritual life
  • your physical health/appearance
  • your relationships
  • your personal development
  • your family life
  • your marriage
  • your professional/business life
  • your finances

Write your global goals for 2019 and then, your can divide your goals with monthly or weekly goals. Also, read your goals everyday, so that you constantly remind them.

Put God first in your vision

Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established –
Proverbs 16:3

Pray about your goals. As Christian women, a lot of our work and duties are done when we are on our knees, praying and petitioning our Lord.

Ask the Lord if your vision is aligned with His will for your life.

Ask Him to give you strength and courage to fulfill your vision.

Ask Him to be with you, no matter what.

Ask Him to teach you to follow His ways, even when they seem to be hard.

And don’t worry, make baby steps if you feel overwhelmed by your vision. The most important is to reach your destination at the time appointed by the Lord.

Take Action!

Okay, you wrote your vision for 2019 and you prayed. Don’t sit around! Start working for the accomplishment of your vision.

Put your ideas and your goals to work. There are things we can do by ourselves with the support of our Lord. Some other things will be beyond your control, and in that case, wait on the Lord.

Well, my sisters, that’s all for today! What is the vision you have for your life in 2019? Have you written your goals down? Have you already taken action? Please feel free to comment below!

    Hello,

God bless you for this Wonderful piece you’ve written. I will be sharing this blog with my wife, I know she’ll learn a lot from you. As people it’s always important for us to have a written vision so as not to lose focus after a period of time.

It can never be over said the idea of always putting God first. We have to work in his plan for us that’s when we as Christians can have good success.

In everything that we do, it us important to put God first, we need his guidance to navigate in the mud of life.Nevertheless, we must work hard, pray hard and be vigilante enough. Setting goals is important for everyone, irrespective of your religion affiliation. Personally, I have lots to do to improve my spiritual life. I have focused so much on physical that the spirit is suffering.

I agree with you that setting goals is important for everyone. I did it from a Christian perspective but it could be adapted for other religious affiliations as well. As for the improvement of your spiritual life, I believe that if you are aware that you have a problem, you’re on the good path. The only thing right now would be to focus on the solutions. Never forget that we should first feed our spirit with the Word of God before feeding our bodies. Hope that it helps.

      Be blessed!

Thank you for this wonderful and insightful post. I tottaly agree with this. Being something or planning to do isn’t that easy as we humans, especially, female to do. First thing is to write every goal down and start working towards it religiously. This is absolutely true. Putting God first in everything is really a wonderful way to commence everything things we wanna do.I’m gonna recommend my girlfriend for my girlfriend. Lovely

    Hello Angelce,

I believe in God our Lord. Every morning when I wake up, I perform certain prayers and I always thank him for everything he has given me in this life. As you decide, I also dream every year to reach a goal, an objective to fulfill.

Then I talk to my lord and I ask him with all my strength to please help me achieve all my dreams. I also try to help in all that I can be gentle with the poor and helpless and treat my neighbor well. God bless you.

I appreciate having found you. Claudio from Argentina
